The Par-4 7th Hole, Sandhills of White Lake
Sandhills of White Lake is a fantasy course designed on an actual piece of property close to the designer's home. The basic topography has remained true to the original with the design taking form as to fit the property. Many areas of the property have been left in their natural state. Interspersed with the sometimes heavy woods are the sand hills, of which years ago a portion of the property was dug out for its sand usage.
The 3rd hole is a reachable downhill par 5. The green is divided by a ridge running from front to back and guarded
on the back by a wetlands area and bunkering on the front, allowing exciting eagle attempts.
The 10th hole tee shot must carry one of the dugout sand areas on the course. Any shot into the waste area left
behind means trouble on the recovery shot.
The 17th is a challenging par 3 placed on the side of a hill left over from the sand excavations of the past.
